“I did,” Blaine said. Everyone went quiet and looked at Blaine with shock. Well everyone except Kurt. Kurt looked up and met Blaine’s gaze with a sad smile.

“It was my Sophomore year,” Blaine said quietly. “I just couldn’t take it anymore. I mean I was safe at Dalton but…”

Kurt stood up and took a seat next to Blaine and pulled him into his arms. 

“I was ready to do it..I had the pills and everything,” Blaine said quietly. “I was late for Warblers practice so I decided I’d do one last performance.”

Some people gasped and others started sobbing.

“One more performance before I ended it all,” Blaine said. He looked at Kurt. “But then..”

Kurt smiled and Blaine returned it.

“But then I met Kurt,” Blaine mumbled. “He saved my life.”

Kurt entwined their hands and kissed Blaine’s forehead. 

In which Blaine was the one who spoke up instead of Mr. Shue.
